Daughter of Thunder

You looked upon the thunder and the lightning
and desired all the power your eyes could see,
but no man can claim to own it or hold it in captivity.
Fore it is a force of nature and must always remain free,
one can only hope to harness it if the intention is noble and justly.

You made a grave mistake when you betrayed,
the one who loved you wholeheartedly,
for this there will surely be a great deal of hell to pay.
Destroyed her heart, you did,
without so much as one ounce of remorse,
mark these words you will lament ever having taken this course.

The thunder commanded your attention
because of the power that you heard in her voice,
the lightning illuminated your life,
a life that had become a dark void.
Foolish is the man that confuses kindness for weakness
and has the temerity to abuse that which was given freely.
Fore he shall come to know such suffering as he has inflicted,
and it will be multiplied;
his capricious and selfish behavior will be his undoing.
A fool is foolish because of his deeds,
and a small man is small because his puny desires
are all he aspires for his needs.

What makes a man great, a giant in his time,
is that which he carries in his heart and enriches his soul,
lights his life and cannot be bought, traded or sold.
It is something that even time cannot fade,
it’s beauty is in it’s sincerity and simplicity,
it shall exist till forever and a day.
